Mindful Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links movement and breath in a series of flowing postures and transitions.  The mindful attention to alignment and flow invites the practitioners to enjoy a variety of sequences starting from the abdominal core to the extremities, with careful attention to both safety and fun.  This class is for yogis looking for a moderate to vigorous practice.  Each class finishes with chanting, relaxation and integration.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga allows us to work the yin tissues of our bodies; our ligaments, joints, fascia and even our bones. Class begins with a brief meditation to connect body, mind and spirit and continues with a series of held postures that support the body with bolsters, blocks, pillows, blankets and straps to allow relaxation in order to reach and focus on the connective tissue. The power of Yin is not in the depth of the pose, but in the duration.

Restorative Yoga

Make time for yourself to unwind . . . This luxuriously slow, healing and interoceptive practice of Restorative Yoga leads you through 4-5 deeply supported, and therefore restorative postures blending deep comfort, soft music and guided relaxation.  Reiki, or energy medicine, is layered throughout this class.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a calming reset for the nervous system, restoring and rejuvenating the body and mind to a state of balance and well-being. Begin with light stretching followed by the practice of deep rest, completely guided as you lie down comfortably: meditation made effortless! Bring a blanket/bolster/eye pillow for your comfort or share the soft props in studio.
